Mixed feelings on this movie. I loved the book, and when I heard about the movie I was ecstatic. But after the hearing the story about Paramount not fully disclosing the script to the actors makes me apprehensive.

I should have stayed away from the controversy. It affected my overall outlook on the movie and resulted in an uncomfortable 2 hours of me worrying how horrible it looks to someone who hasn't read the book. Despite all the techincal errors (Sorry, just because you have the GGB in a frame doesn't mean that you're in SF), I was glad I saw it. Though I don't see a DVD purchase in my future.
